UPDATE: All the $15/yard compost has been claimed! The USDA program will start up again in January with compost at $20/yard.
Our usual price for compost for farm customers is $35/cubic yard plus a delivery fee. Through a USDA program, farmers growing food or flower crops in Eastern MA and RI can order Black Earth compost this year for $15/cubic yard and no delivery fee for 50+ yard orders or $25/cubic yard plus delivery fee for smaller orders. Black Earth Compost is food waste based and tested regularly for herbicide contamination, PFAS, and microbial activity.
