Full Job Description:
Gopal Farm Cape Cod in Sandwich, Massachusetts is seeking a seasonal Tractor Operator to start as soon as possible. This position will be operating a JOHN DEERE 5115M Utility Tractor and all associated implements in preparation for the 2021 Season.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years previous heavy equipment experience
- Working knowledge of the operation and uses of tractors and all associated implements
- Familiarity with the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in connection with the care and maintenance of the farm
- Ability to operate equipment safely and skillfully
- Ability to detect damage and make minor repairs to equipment
- Good time management skills and ability to work long days
- Experience operating Plows, Harrows, Discs, Front End Loaders, Tillers, Bed Shapers, Flail Mowers, & Pallet Forks

Additional Preferred Background:
- A current Forklift License
- Experience with a John Deere 5115M Utility Tractor
- Minor Mechanical Experience
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operates the tractor for the purposes of Discing, Tilling, Plowing, Plastic Mulching, Seeding, Transplanting, Hauling, & Mowing
- Service tractor and equipment, Clean interior and exterior
- Assist with assigned tasks as needed
