AmeriCorps Farm-to-School Coordinater

Join the Green Mountain Farm-to-School team as an AmeriCorps Farm-to-School Coordinator. Great opportunity to work outside with youth in school gardens and gain valuable experience in the classroom. AmeriCorps members work to create Farm to School program activities such as taste tests, farm field trips, school gardens, nutrition education, and more. This position is part of the Lyndon Economic opportunity AmeriCorps Program (LEAP) and Green Mountain Farm-to-School. It is a year-long position based out of Newport, VT serving the schools in the NEK. Compensation includes a biweekly living stipend, subsidized housing, full health coverage, and a $6,345 Education Award for past or future education upon successful completion. Reliable transportation needed for positions, with mileage reimbursement for business-related travel. The position starts on August 22, 2022, and runs until August 5, 2023.
