Climate Farm School: hands on regenerative agriculture course offering

Round the Bend farm is excited to be partnering with the Climate Farm School program at Terra.do to host a week of farm-based learning and climate education focused on integrated food, energy and water systems.

The Climate Farm School program at Terra.do is a unique opportunity to live and work on a regenerative farm for a week while learning about climate solutions within sustainable food systems. The course runs for 4 weeks, with weeks 1, 2 and 4 all online, and the 3rd week on the farm. Round the Bend Farm will be hosting the course at the farm July 29-August 5!

Program elements include hands-on farm work, visits to nearby farming operations, meals with farmers and local foodies, climate leadership development, generative discussions and networking with people with similar interests. Whether you are looking for an entry point into climate action or looking to further your personal and professional food-focused climate journey, this course will empower you to take the next step. You will gain a critical, informed lens on climate solutions within food systems that starts with the view from the farm. This course is a great experience for students and professionals alike! All professional backgrounds are welcome, and we particularly encourage those looking to engage in their regional food system to apply. Scholarships are available, so please apply regardless of financial need.
