Good afternoon! My name is Jake Curran, and I am an intern at the RI Office of Energy Resources working to manage the RI Agricultural Energy Grant Program.
The RI AgEP partners with the RI DEM, offering a grant program specifically designed to support clean energy upgrades for Rhode Island farms. We provide grants up to $20,000 for eligible energy efficiency and renewable energy products, holding two rounds annually (spring & fall), and have awarded over 55 total grant projects, totaling $978,786, which has helped fund 932 kW of renewable energy since 2016. Our goal is to support clean energy projects in the agricultural sector.
