We are in need of farm worker on a part-time to full-time basis starting immediately with the potential to work through October for the right candidate. We are flexible with the hours worked and each week could be a little different, weather dependent.
The job requires a lot of walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, carrying, and a lot of lifting heavy objects on a daily basis. There is a wide variety of tasks that will be preformed and the tasks are always changing with the seasons. Tasks can include but are not limited to: pulling weeds, laying down mulch, transplanting plants, harvesting plants, pulling more weeds, mowing and weed whacking, garden clean up and much more.
It’s a community farm education program. We grow produce, flowers and have laying chickens.
Hourly rate is $25/hr.
