The King Farm is looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our Farm Stand team.
Our farm stand is open year-round and features the best of New England—fresh local produce, pasture-raised meats, farm-fresh eggs, dairy, baked goods, artisanal foods, flowers, and more. We work with over 175 local farms and food producers to bring exceptional products to our community.
As a Farm Stand Associate, you’ll help create a welcoming shopping experience while playing an important role in supporting local agriculture. Every interaction with our customers helps strengthen the connection between local farms and the families who shop with us.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with purchases
- Operate the register and accurately process transactions
- Open and close the farm stand
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays throughout the day
- Receive and organize incoming deliveries
- Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items
- Keep the farm stand clean, organized, and well merchandised
- Assist with seasonal displays and merchandising
- Answer customer questions about our products and local producers
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive shopping experience
- Assist with other farm stand duties as needed
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Detail-oriented and willing to learn
- Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required
