Westbay Farm is seeking to hire a farmer to take over all operations of a well established farm using organic methods in Warwick, RI. In the first year (2026), you will be mentored by the current farmer with nearly two decades of experience who will be retiring at the end of the year. The farmer is assisted by a cadre of dedicated volunteers who participate in all aspects of growing approximately 20,000 lbs of produce each year. The farm is under the auspices of Westbay Community Action and the produce is provided to the agency’s food pantry as well as to a weekly farm stand, open to the public. The farm is equipped with a heated greenhouse, several hoop houses, drip tape irrigation and a barn. The farm is located on an old 60 acre dairy farm of which about 3 acres are now farmed.
