Hope’s Harvest (a program of Farm Fresh RI) is looking for some reusable plastic bulk bins (macro/apple bins)! For context, Hope’s Harvest mobilizes volunteers to harvest surplus fruits and vegetables from farms, contracts with local growers, and pays for surplus produce — all for distribution to hunger relief agencies throughout RI. We get a lot of storage crops in the fall–apples, squash, carrots, etc.–and are looking to purchase 2 plastic bulk bins (macro bins, apple bins, whatever the accurate name is these days!) from a local farmer to make our harvest and transportation of crops easier. Please let me know if you have an abundance of these and would like to sell us two OR if you are placing an order soon and we could hop on that order to cut down the cost of shipping!
