Join our team at The Farm in RI, a small certified organic vegetable farm in Chepachet, RI.
We’re looking for someone who’s eager to grow with the business — someone reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. This is physical, rewarding work: expect sun, sweat, dirt, and the satisfaction of getting things done with care and attention to detail.
Must-haves:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Clear, compassionate communication
- Willingness to work outdoors in all conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Position Details:
- 1 shift/week (8 hours) to start, with the potential to grow into more hours or a long-term role
- Now through the end of October (2025 main season)
- $15/hr plus access to excess veggies
- Experience is a bonus, but we’re willing to train the right person
Sample duties:
- Harvesting and washing produce
- Packing orders
- Weeding, planting, pruning
- Moving compost and other physical tasks
