Southside Community Land Trust has 2 acres of prime farmland available in Tiverton, RI, and we are currently requesting proposals from farmers who may want to use it, either through a lease agreement or in a management partnership with SCLT. The soil is great, and access is easy, but there’s currently no water source, buildings, or utilities on site, so your proposed uses should be suitable for those conditions. Duration of lease terms are somewhat flexible, and we are open to any and all types of crops and farming systems, though preference is given to organic methods.
