Hello folks, just a final reminder that our class for farmers and gardeners and all interested in the fascinating world of soil science and plant biology is coming up soon. This is our ninth year offering this course and we are very excited, as always, to have so much interest in the topic. The class is focused on helping growers understand the processes that govern plant growth and soil/plant dynamics in order for us to make informed decisions on our farms and in our gardens.
The course will be held on two consecutive Saturdays (March 14th and March 21st) in Providence from 3-7pm. NOFA/RI is offering subsidies to help cover the course fee. You can request a subsidy when contacting John for registration.
In order to make extra time during classes we’ve decided to offer a free farm tour along with registration for the course. We will be holding a tour of Big Train Farm to discuss our methods and how they relate to what we’ve talked about it class. Date for the tour TBA.
