Part Time to Full Time, Year-Round, Milker, Grazer
This is a position that has been part time, but in the beginning may need to be more full time. Or it could be a position for 2 part time workers. The job includes housing.
Duties include milking cows, vetting cows, collecting data on cows’ reproduction to make plans for yearly milk production, birthing cows, putting up temporary electric fence, moving cows to fresh grass every day.
Skills needed: working with animals, moving truck and trailer, tractor work, making hay, feeding hay, making and spreading compost, mowing fields and removing manure and applying bedding with skid steer.
Will train promising applicants
This is a year-round job but will consider summer May-September applicants
