Farm Fresh Rhode Island is seeking a committed and reliable team player to join our team as a Customer Service Coordinator working for our Market Mobile program, a wholesale and home delivery distribution platform where local farms sell their products to a variety of customers through one order form, delivery service, and invoice.
The Market Mobile Customer Service Coordinator will work under the supervision of our Market Mobile Program Director. They will be a part of critical communication to both customers and producers for Market Mobile and be responsible for handling various customer support tasks via phone and email. This includes entering orders, troubleshooting missing items, communicating delivery days and times, and other administrative tasks. Market Mobile Customer Service Coordinator should have a keen attention to detail, experience in a customer service forward position, show patience and kindness when interacting with customers and staff, and have a passion for finding resolutions as it relates to customer orders.
The Customer Service Coordinator will also be responsible for keeping customer invoices up to date and communicating changes to the finance team. They will help to grow sales by retaining current relationships and fostering new relationships with a focus on timely communication and professionalism.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Communication
- Ensure all communication to external stakeholders is professional and courteous.
- Customers receive timely emails and calls regarding shorted items and substitutions.
- Market Mobile emails are answered within one business day and phone calls are answered as they come in.
- Customers' concerns and changes are communicated to the operations team when applicable.
- Communication with customers and potential customers is approached with an urgency toward retaining sales relationships.
- Customers are coached and encouraged to order with the season.
Account Management
- Customer invoices are kept up to date and accurate.
- Invoices are adjusted per customer request in a timely manner.
- Standing orders are entered on the appropriate schedule.
Administrative & Operations Support
- Must uphold Farm Fresh RI Supervisor Standards in accordance with Level 1: Coordinator expectations.
- Must be able to build relationships with people from varied cultural, economic, educational, racial, and religious backgrounds.
- Must maintain a customer service orientation while considering solutions and interacting with external partners.
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible and changing schedule including early mornings (as early as 8am or evenings as late as 8pm occasionally with advance notice).
- Must be willing to assist with packline as needed.

- Spanish skills or other language skills are a plus
- Ability to learn front-end e-commerce operations

- $18-21/hour, commensurate with experience
