Eastie Farm (http://www.eastiefarm.com/) is looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Food Program Coordinator (Join the Eastie Farm family! - Eastie Farm).
Produce for the People, or the Food Program, runs a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program (http://www.eastiefarm.com/csa), integrating free and affordable shares into a market based farm share program each year. We structure our CSA this way to help achieve our goal of creating a more equitable and sustainable food system. We do this by supporting local farms, addressing food insecurity, and helping our community members experience the benefits of a sustainable local food system.
The Food Program Coordinator (Join the Eastie Farm family! - Eastie Farm) is responsible for coordinating all the parties involved from farms to families so everything flows smoothly, overseen by the Food Program Manager. This includes: assisting with program logistics - deliveries, distributions, etc.; program administration - metrics tracking, vendor relations and communications - marketing, social media and external communications, and general community engagement.
