Phantom Farms based in Cumberland, RI is looking for 2024 Fall & Winter seasonal help in our outdoor Garden Center, Apple Orchard, & Cider Press. Must have availability on the weekends and be willing to commit to a schedule from September through the end of December.
In the Garden Center, your responsibilities will include maintaining seasonal plants through watering, fertilizing, and pruning. During the winter, you’ll assist with Christmas tree setup and help customers with loading trees onto their vehicles. You will also be tasked with restocking plants, pumpkins, Christmas trees, and other fall & winter seasonal items. Additionally, you’ll need to manage weed control and upkeep decorative displays.
Responsibilities in the orchard will include apple picking, restocking bags in the storefront, picking up drops, maintenance of weeding beds around the front of the farm, and any other asked responsibilities. In our cider press, you will be asked to assist with production.
We are seeking individuals who love to work outside in all sorts of New England weather, are physically fit, and love hands-on projects. We are seeking team players that are energetic, have a positive attitude, a sense of humor, and think on their feet. Attention to detail and problem-solving are essential. Must have own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
