Skinny Dip Farm is hiring for 2021
We’re looking to hire good folks to join us for the 2021 growing season. Strong Preference will go to applicants hoping to farm with us for the entire 2021 season and beyond.
Full time and part time positions available, 3-5 days a week (5 days/week preferred). 8 hours per day of field work, harvest and market prep, with the possibility of farmers market sales.
Skinny Dip Farm is a diverse, 5 acre certified organic vegetable and flower farm located in South Westport, MA and Little Compton, RI. We are looking for help doing a wide range of field work including hoeing, hand weeding, harvest, planting, washing produce, and selling at farmers markets. Applicants must be capable of lifting 50 lbs, tolerant of working outside in all types of weather, and enthusiastic about working alone and with other people doing work that is often repetitive. Some farming experience is preferred, as is familiarity with functioning in the cold (largely a matter of wardrobe). Reliable transportation to Westport and Little Compton required. We have four 30’ x 96’ high tunnels that keep us busy straight through the winter harvesting and marketing fresh greens to go along with what we’ve put in storage, so year round work is available.
Pay ranges from $13.50-15/ hour, potentially more for experienced applicants, plus lots of seasonal, organic produce. No housing provided.
