FARM INTERNS WANTED: Westbay Farm in Warwick, RI is hiring one or two paid interns for our summer season. Interns participate in all aspects of running a two acre vegetable farm using organic methods. Jobs include seed starting, field preparation, tractor work, planting, cultivating, harvesting and farmers market sales. Westbay Farm is a program of Westbay Community Action, an anti-poverty agency. Our main purpose is to grow produce for food pantries and a homebound delivery program, but we also have a weekly farm stand and sell at the West Warwick Farmers Market.
