FARM INTERNS WANTED: Westbay Farm in Warwick, RI is hiring two 20 hour a week interns for our summer season. Interns will participate in all aspects of running a two acre vegetable farm using organic methods. Jobs include seed starting, field preparation, tractor work, planting, harvesting and farmers market sales. Westbay Farm is a program of Westbay Community Action, an anti-poverty agency. We operate a weekly farm stand and sell at the West Warwick Farmers Market, but our main purpose is to grow produce for food pantries and a homebound delivery program.
