We are a small organic vegetable farm in Chepachet RI. We farm in a way that nurtures the land and in return the land nurtures us.
We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, not afraid of hard work, sun, sweat, and dirt and loves to “get it done” all while keeping an eye for detail. Working well with others, practicing compassionate communication and showing up with a positive attitude and ready to work is a must.
This position is for our 2022 main season. Position is for 1-5 (8) hr shifts. Some duties include
-Harvesting
-Washing/packing
-Weeding
-Planting
-Pruning
-Moving compost etc.*Must be able to lift 50 lbs
*Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
*Potential for more hours/long term position.
