All finished compost for food producers is $35/yard until June 30th. Save $8/yard off the regular wholesale price of $43/yard. Typically our FarmWorks program funds this discount on limited quantities for farm customers growing food for their communities, but until the end of June there is no maximum order quantity for the $35/yard price. Delivery radius includes eastern and central Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and southern New Hampshire. Delivery fee based on distance and quantity ordered.
Subsidized “rapid compost” is back for 2025. This year the price is $20/yard and no delivery fee for orders of rapid compost over 50 yards. Rapid compost is the same as our regular product - still screened and tested for herbicide contamination, PFAS, nutrient makeup, and microbial activity - but it is sold and delivered to farms while still in the process of curing. Spread rapid compost in a thin layer as is on fallow fields or established crops for a nitrogen boost or leave it in a windrow until fully cooled (about 1-3 months) and use it when it’s finished.
