Wright's Dairy Farm Hiring Full Time Creamery Staff

For over 100 years Wright’s Dairy Farm has been selling milk directly to the public. We started as a horse drawn home delivery route selling raw milk. In the 1930’s when pasteurization became a federal regulation for milk, my great grandfather decided to invest in the equipment to pasteurize our milk right on the farm. To this day we still pasteurize and bottle our milk on farm because we believe there’s no better way to do it.

Working in our creamery is an extremely unique opportunity. Very few dairy processing plants are located anywhere near the actual dairy farm where the milk is produced. Very few dairy processing plants are connected to a retail store to sell finished product. Our (almost) complete control of the supply chain makes for a rich understanding of the entire process from cow to customer.

Our current creamery team blends, separates, clarifies, homogenizes, pasteurizes and bottles about 5,000 gallons of milk and cream every week. We also make ice cream mix and churn our own ice cream. We are a primarily female, small, but mighty team that works hard and has fun getting the job done. We are looking for candidates to join our team who are detail oriented early risers that love dairy products and working in a fast paced environment. We are willing to invest in training for the right candidate who is looking to learn and grow with the business.

All candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and work an 8 hour standing shift.

Hours: Full Time - Monday - Friday 4/5am start time

Compensation: $12+ depending on experience

Full Time Benefits: Medical and SIMPLE Plan with 3% Match
