Could Someone Give me Advice for Local Rhode Island Honey Producers for Collaboration?

Hello there,

I am new to this platform and excited to connect with the vibrant community here at Farm Fresh Rhode Island. I am reaching out because I’m currently working on a project that emphasizes supporting local agriculture, and I’d love to collaborate with honey producers based in Rhode Island.

My primary goal is to source high-quality, raw, and sustainably harvested honey to include in gift baskets I am curating for an upcoming community event. The event focuses on promoting local small businesses; and I believe honey is not just a delicious product but also a perfect ambassador for our regions agricultural roots.

Ideally; someone who practices sustainable beekeeping and is open to a small bulk order.

Beyond just sourcing honey; I would love to feature the stories of the beekeepers and their commitment to sustainability as part of the event materials.

Also, I have gone through this post; https://exchange.farmfreshri.org/t/need-local-csa-recommendations-and-sustainable-farming-practices-in-rhode-island-salesforce-cpq which definitely helped me out a lot.

If you are a honey producer or know someone in the Rhode Island area who fits the bill; I would love to hear from you. Feel free to reply here or message me directly. I am also open to visiting local farms to learn more about the process and meet in person.

Thanks so much for your help and assistance.

Hi, if you are still searching, let me know. When do you need this for? My mom and step dad Margarita and Teo Martinez produce honey in RI but they are not available until March. Let me know!
